Astrology

Wisdom of the Ages

Most people associate Astrology with the weekly horoscopes which appear in magazines or newspapers. This type of Astrology can not be taken as the entirety of its purpose nor can it be taken too seriously. In such a generalised form, it is merely a forecast of planet movements within a particular sun sign and tells nothing of an individuals destiny as the combination of science and art involved in casting a natal chart requires a lot more information.

Hermes Trismegistos, a mythical figure thought to be an Egyptian sage around the time of Christ was a great teacher who philosophised the creation of all life to be interconnected. "All creation manifests from a single point and is animated by the same life force." His teachings and Scriptures paved the way and formed the basis of Western mysticism, alchemy and chemistry. On the great Emerald tablet that was said to be found with his corpse, Hermes recognised the Universal Mind of man and the collective energy of all things.

"Whatever is below is like that which is above, and what ever is above is like that which is below..."

(The emerald tablet of Hermes Trismegistos)
